Ali Akbar Velayati, senior advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution for international affairs, said the bombing of Dahiyeh and the violation of the ceasefire reflect the “haste of the illegitimate regime toward its own downfall.”
In a post on his social media account, he wrote that the bombing of Dahiyeh and the violation of the ceasefire represent the haste of the illegitimate regime to bring an end to its ominous history.
He added that the bombing of people in Lebanon, from Muslims to Maronites, shows that history is repeating itself.
Velayati also referred to a forthcoming response “of the nature of Dhat al-Salasil,” which would break the chains of captivity, adding: “The end of this book is in our hands".
