Iranian Foreign Minister Extends Eid al-Adha Greetings to Muslim Counterparts

Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, extended Eid al-Adha greetings to his counterparts across the Islamic world, expressing hope for stronger Islamic solidarity and greater cooperation in confronting war, discrimination and occupation, particularly in West Asia.

Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, sent separate congratulatory messages to foreign ministers of Islamic countries across different regions of the world on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, extending his greetings to his counterparts and Muslims around the world and wishing peace, prosperity and well-being for all Muslims.

In his message, Araghchi said:

“Eid al-Adha is one of the greatest Islamic holidays and a unique manifestation of sacrifice, devotion and submission before Almighty God. We pray that, with the blessings of this great occasion, we will witness the strengthening and deepening of Islamic solidarity for cooperation and mutual assistance in confronting war, discrimination and occupation, particularly in the West Asia region, and that our world will return to the path of peace and justice.”
