The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran has said that Iran and the UN nuclear watchdog have no problems based on the safeguards.

Commenting on the trip by the head of IAEA to Iran, Mohammad Eslami said that the trip was scheduled for a time when they would not use the policy of maximum pressure.

He also said that using unrealistic and unprofessional phrases when the talks are underway is in line with the same failed policy of maximum pressure.

According to the safeguards, Eslami said, Iran and the IAEA have no problems.

“The criterion for our cooperation with the agency is the safeguards,” he added.

He underlined that Iran hasn’t done and will not do anything that IAEA isn’t aware of, saying that all of our activities are within the framework of the regulations.
