Deputy FM: Independent states need planning to use int'l organizations

The Deputy foreign minister for political affairs emphasizing that America takes advantage of international organizations faultily against independent countries said such states, too, need planning to use international bodies' capacities.

Deputy foreign ministers of Russia, Venezuela, and Cuba, who is in Tehran to attend the 1st Meeting of Coordinators of the National Group of Friends to Support UN Charter, had separate meetings with Iran Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Bagheri Kani on Sunday.

The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vreshnin in his meeting with Bagheri Kani criticized the US policies in taking instrumental advantage of the human rights issue, emphasizing that the UN Secretariat Office must heed its responsibilities and Tehran-Moscow cooperation to counter the west's political and economic pressure is of extreme importance.

The Venezuelan Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Julio Martinez, and the Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Elio Rodríguez Perdomo, too, in separate meetings with Deputy Foreign Minister Bagheri Kani while emphasizing the need for increased economic cooperation and resistance against the US totalitarian approach in various fields, said that safeguarding the independent countries' interests is a dire necessity.

The Iranian deputy foreign minister, too, in those meetings referred to the miscellaneous and numerous capacities in any of the member countries of the Coordinators of the National Group of Friends to Support UN Charter, reiterated, "Combining the political, economic, legal, and media capacities of the independent countries versus the totalitarian approach of the Americans and their western allies, will decrease the imposed pressure.

Bagheri Kani said that the US takes advantage of international organizations and foundations faultily against independent countries to secure its own illegitimate interests.
