U.S. military option against Iran is only for braggadocio: Expert
A professor at Tehran University has said that Iran doesn’t take military threats by officials in the U.S. seriously, and that is only a braggadocio.
At least on the surface, the fact is that the talks on the revival of the JCPOA have not reached the result at the appointed time and that has many reasons, Sasan Karimi told ILNA.
He called the internal affairs of Iran and the U.S. the main reasons for halting the nuclear talks and said that the reality is that the mid-term elections in the U.S. are coming and the effect of the sensitivity of public opinion toward the administration's decisions is certain.
On the other hand, the recent unrest in Iran has put Biden’s administration under pressure in regard to the continuation of the nuclear talks, he added.
Commenting on the recent comments by Robert Malley that the military option toward Iran is on the table, the expert said that we don’t take these comments seriously and that is only for braggadocio.
