Armenia can count on Iran's assistance: expert
An expert on the Caucasus region has said that Iran has various solutions to neutralize this conspiracy one of which is to expand and strengthen economic, political, security, and intelligence relations with the Republic of Armenia.
Ehsan Movahedian said in an exclusive interview ILNA that the purpose of setting up the Zangezur corridor is to give monopoly over goods and energy transit to countries that do not necessarily have good relations with China, Russia and Iran.
He said that “therefore, the goal of our economic blockade and NATO's opening to the Caspian Sea region is to blockade Iran, China, and Russia, and on the other hand, to try to create ethnic riots and strengthen separatist currents in Iran, Russia, and China by inciting a series of minorities.”
According to this goal-setting, Iran has various solutions to neutralize this conspiracy one of which is to expand and strengthen economic, political, security, and intelligence relations with the Republic of Armenia, he noted.
The expert also said that the aim is the expanding and strengthening of the relations that will cause the maintaining of territorial integrity of Armenia vis-a-vis Azerbaijan and prevent the establishment of the Zangezur corridor.
In fact, we should remind the Armenian side in this trip that Iran is the only country that has the maximum continuity of interests with Armenia, he added.
In order to maintain territorial integrity and territorial unity and security, Armenia can count on Iran’s economic, political, security, information, and military assistance, he noted.
