An expert on international relations has said that the revival of the Iran deal will no longer be a winning card for the White House in the congressional and presidential elections.

Mehdi Motaharnia told ILNA that the U.S. is seeking its interests and today there are doubts that Biden’s administration has interests in nuclear talks.

The administration of the U.S. had put the nuclear talks on hold before the recent internal developments in Iran, he said, adding that the U.S. has claimed that Iran has demands that are beyond the JCPOA and that Washington will not accept them.

This agreement will no longer be a winning card for the White House in the congressional and presidential elections, he added.
