A nuclear expert has said that Iran’s logic is that Iran should not be committed to its obligations while the other side isn’t fulfilling its obligations.

Iran’s logic is that while the other side isn’t fulfilling its obligations why Iran should be committed, Hassan Beheshtipoor said in a remark to ILNA.

He referred to Rafael Grossi’s recent remarks that given the agency's JCPOA-related cameras are off; the time for reviving the deal is running out, adding that “instead of complaining about Iran, Mr. Director General should ask the American and European sides to fulfill their obligations so that the agency can continue its monitoring of the JCPOA.”

Therefore, it is the logic of the Islamic Republic of Iran that if they expect Iran to allow JCPOA cameras to operate, then the Agency should also ask the western side to fulfill its obligations, he added.
