The IRGC Navy Commander has said that our efforts are based on solving the problems through diplomacy but we will respond harshly to any country trying to bully us.

Our behavior with the country that confiscates our ship and talks to us with bullying is very different, IRGC Navy Commander Rear Admiral Ali Reza Tangsiri told ILNA.

He emphasized that our efforts are based on solving problems through diplomacy but if a country tries to bully us, we will respond harshly.

Referring to the IRGC monitoring of ships passing through the Persian Gulf, he said that “The IRGC Navy's area of responsibility includes the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.”

He said Iran rejects any kind of bullying and said that “we will not allow foreigners to enter the waters of our country.”

Commenting on Iran’s confrontation with Chinese trawling in the waters of Iran, he noted that “we adopted a resolute approach and  detained more than 11 Chinese trawling vessels.”
