A professor at Georgetown University has said that the revival of the 2015 Iran deal is in the interests of the U.S. provided that Iran accepts U.S. demands.

It seems the U.S. and Iran are preparing for a situation where the JCPOA will not be revived, Shirin Hunter told ILNA, adding that Israel along with Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries are against Iran's return to the international arena.

Emphasizing that both Washington and Tehran want to revive the JCPOA on the condition that their demands are met, she said that the U.S. return to the Iran deal is in favor of Washington in case Iran accepts the U.S. terms.
