An Iranian expert believes that if Saudi Arabia does not take the ceasefire in Yemen seriously and violates it, undoubtedly, we will see Ansarullah's actions against Riyadh.

The expert, Hassan Hanizadeh, said that the Yemeni Ansarullah's attack against Aramco simultaneously with the energy crises emanating from the war in Ukraine showed that the Saudis are in a position of weakness and because of that they accepted the ceasefire.

He said that after seven years of Emirati and Saudi cruel war against Yemen and spending 350 billion dollars we are witnessing that the Saudi regime is facing problems on the battlefield and politically.

He stressed that from two years ago until now Yemen's Ansarullah were able to increase the cost of Saudi Arabia in Yemen and because of that we are seeing the implementation of the “the balance of terror strategy” against the Saudi coalition by Yemenis.

“The timing of the Yemeni Ansarullah’s attacks on Aramco was cleverly chosen simultaneous with the Ukraine crisis and they wanted to impose ceasefire to Saudi Arabia and the behavior of Riyadh has shown that their need to sell oil is quite palpable,” Hanizadeh told ILNA.

He said that the announcement by the UN envoy for Yemen on the two-month ceasefire agreement in the country was the result of Ansarullah’s recent attacks on Aramco.

He stressed that if Saudi Arabia does not take the ceasefire seriously and violates it, undoubtedly, we will see Ansarullah's action against Riyadh.
