Following the discussions between the head of AEOI and the IAEA chief, Tehran and the UN watchdog reached a 'good deal,' the Iranian Foreign minister said on Wednesday.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian at the gathering of Iran's envoys in neighboring countries said that Tehran and the International Atomic Energy Agency reached a good agreement which will respond to alleged concerns of westerners about Iran's peaceful nuclear program.

"Last night we reached a good agreement with the IAEA that could address some of the alleged concerns about Iran's peaceful nuclear program", the top diplomat said, adding that this will lead to more mutual cooperation with IAEA.

Amir-Abdollahian about the latest developments in the Vienna talks for sanctions removal said that "talks are based on preserving the dignity of the Iranian nation and our negotiators have adopted the same approach with seriousness and hard work."

Earlier on Tuesday, Iran's Foreign Ministry said that ongoing discussions between the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), and the IAEA chief have led to progress and that gaps on several issues of mutual interest have narrowed.
