Rising of non-oil exports is top on Iran's agenda

Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri on Monday voiced government's support for the country's private sector.

Making the country's economy stable is the government's top priority, Jahangiri said in a meeting with the businessmen.

Iran's vice president, referring to comments made by critics of the nuclear deal, said the idea that the Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action (JCPOA) had no results is wrong and unfair.

Jahangiri called controlling the turmoil in currency market one of the government's achievements, adding that promotion of non-oil exports is top on governement's agenda for the current year.

Government has a plan to export 10 billion dollars worth of technical services and commodities abroad during the current Iranian calendar year(started March 20, 2016), he said.

The official noted that the government will not interfere in talks between the private sector and its foreign partners regarding the financing issues and will only try to facilitate cooperation between them.
