Gov’t spox: Negative foreign trade balance turned positive

Government Spokesman Ali Bahadori Jahromi wrote in a Twitter message that Iran’s negative foreign trade balance has turned positive thanks to dynamic diplomacy during the past few months, and inflation problem, too, can be resolved by using the same strategy.
"This spring the volume of Iran’s trade balance reached positive $605 million, while Iran’s non-oil exports had increased 19.5% and foreign transit 32%," Bahadori Jahromi tweeted.
The government spokesman expressed hope that by pursuing the same policy the government could also resolve the recent years high inflation and turn the inflation rate from a two digit to a single digit rate.
