Iran’s exports to Russia decrease 29%: Official

Iran’s exports to Russia in the first two months of this year faced a 12 percent decrease in weight and a 29 percent decrease in value compared to the same period last year, the Iranian Customs spokesman announced.

Rohollah Latifi said in an exclusive interview with ILNA that according to official statistics, the number of Iran’s exports to Russia was 198,663 tonnes of goods worth 68,584,372 million dollars, and during the same period, the imports from Russia were 443,681 tonnes of goods worth 319,142,911 million dollars.

Iran’s two-month exports to Russia faced a 12 percent decrease in weight and a 29 percent decrease in value compared to the same period last year, and imports from Russia witnessed a 45 percent increase in weight and a 73 percent increase in value, according to the spokesman.
