Leader highlights role of champions in promoting national patriotism

ILNA: Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei highlighted the role of champions in promoting national patriotism.
The Supreme Leader made the remarks here on Wednesday when he received the national champions who won medals and world rankings in the last Asian Games in Incheon, China.
The ayatollah said that is very important for the champions to retain their spiritual values in front of millions of people.
The high spirit of the Iranian champions is a token of nation’s resistance and firm will, the Supreme Leader added.
