DPR Korea Ambassador to Tehran talks about Present Situation in Korean peninsula.

Kang Sam Hyon in an interview with ILNA about present situation in Korean peninsula says: As all know, the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean army are staging joint military drills for aggression with more than 300000 troops, U.S. nuclear carrier Carl Vinsonand B-1B and other nuclear strategic assets involved. The final goal of the drills is to carry out the “beheading operation” for “removing the headquarters of the north”and the “preemptive attack” operation for blowing up the nuclear and rocket bases of the north.

"Timed to coincide with the nuclear war games, the Trump administration began to disclose its brigandish ature. The DPRK policy shaped by the Trump administration is to first to put high-intensity sanctions and pressure on the DPRK, second to constantly keep tactical nuclear weapons deployed in south Korea and thirdto launch an independent military action aimed at “beheading operation” and “preemptive attack", he added.

In actuality the Trump administration which made a surprise cruise guided missile strike at Syria on April 6, has made open threat and blackmail against the DPRK, describing it as a “strong warning message” to it, Kang added.

Korean ambassador also added that: In this connection, all military steps taken by the DPRK are an entirely legitimate exercise of its right to self-defence to cope with the brigandish nuclear blackmailand threat from the U.S. and its vassal forces and their moves to isolate and strangulate the DPRK. it is a legitimate right of the DPRK to make a resolute preemptive attack to thoroughly frustrate the moves for imminent and full-phased aggression and war made by the U.S.

"As already declared by the spokesman for the General Staff of the Korean People’s Amy the DPRK side will foilall the provocative moves of the U.S. in the political, economic and military fields pursuant to its hostile policy toward the DPRK through the toughest counteraction and the counteraction will be taken in such a merciless manner as not to allow the aggressors to survive.  Under this prevailing grave situation the U.S. has to come to its senses and make a proper option for the solution of the problem" he continued.

"The DPRK nuclear tests and ballistic missile launches arejust and righteous self-defensive measures to safeguard the sovereignty and right to existence to cope with the nuclear threat of the U.S. persisting for more than half a century and they do not run counter to any international law.  As is generally known, the U.S. “sanctions resolutions” against the DPRK have neither legal ground nor justification, to say nothing of their morality. I once again resolutely denounce and reject as criminal document the “sanctions resolutions” of the UN devoid of the legality, impartiality and morality. It is imperative to immediately convene the forum of international legal experts to clarify the legal ground of the UN “sanctions resolutions” against the DPRK. And UN secretariat should positively respond to the DPRK’s proposal on organizing the forum" he stressed.

"On April 25, Israeli defense minister in a press interviewdared hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK, saying that Israel has directly affected by the standoff between the DPRK and the U.S.  His reckless remarks are a dirty and wicked behavior and grave challenge to the DPRK. Israel, that illegally possesses nuclear weapons under thepatronage of the U.S., takes every opportunity to slander the nuclear deterrence of the DPRK in bid to divert the public criticism as a disturber of the Mideast peace, occupier of the Arab land and chief culprit of unethical crimes. It is the steadfast will and spirit of the army and people of the DPRK to never pardon those who dare hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK but deal a thousand-fold blow to them.  Israel is well advised to think over the consequences to be entailed by its slander" the ambassador added.
