We’ll stun Iran’s deal violators: Salehi
Addressing Iranian academicians of nuclear physique, Iran’s nuclear energy chief Salehi said that the JCPOA violators will get stunned by Iran’s response.
“We are taking long steps in the field of medicinal radiocompounds and the officials are well doing about this job,” said Ali Akbar Salehi on Sunday.
Mr. Salehi, who serves concurrently as the Vice-President and the Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), made the remarks at Professor Hesabi hall of AEOI HQ addressing Iranian academicians and university professors of the field of nuclear physiques who were celebrating the 50th anniversary of opening of the Tehran’s Research Reactor.
“Fortunately construction works have got into gear about the issue of GMP,” said the Iranian official, “it’s a big project and about €60 million is to be spent on this project and we hope to see the project completed by four years,” recounted Mr. Salehi.
“Reviewing the trajectory of nuclear science in Iran, I found out that under the pressure posed by US, we have no way except accepting NPT,” said the Iranian official before hailing the past record of his predecessors at the AEOI.
“It is impossible to have a nuclear plant and be ignorant about provision of nuclear feed,” asserted Mr. Salehi in defense for the plans implemented so far for developing the industry, the infrastructures needed for it, and the human resources to run the system.
Express his sense of gratitude to the academicians who have contributed to the industry, Mr. Salehi said, “I feel proud to be enjoying the legacy left by those dear contributors.”
“The minimum we can do to pay tribute to those predecessors is to move forward and not to retreat but to lay bricks upon the founding stones laid by them,” reassured the Iranian chief of nuclear energy.
Touching upon the course of nuclear negotiations, he rejected the idea that the Iranian negotiators discussed the issue with a gullible trust on the other side. “Expecting the breach of the agreement by the other side we embedded some snap mechanisms in the deal,” reassured Mr. Salehi.
He maintained that the nuclear agreement of July 14, 2015, signed by Iran and 5+1 group of countries is of benefit for the whole world.
“If the JCPOA gets scrapped, no international convention will have solidity,” articulated Mr. Salehi. “But if the deal gets out of place, we will stun the violators of the deal,” ascertained the Iranian VP.
