High Representative of the European Union Federica Mogherini said the EU and Russia are quite unanimous in implementation of the nuclear agreement with Iran or the conflict between 'Israel' and Palestine.

Mogherini made the remarks on May 12 at a joint press conference with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Estonia Sven Mikser, according to a report by the EU External Action website.

She pointed to Iran landmark nuclear deal also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) saying that the EU and Russia maintain the same stances as regard the nuclear accord which was signed in July 2015 between Iran and the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council plus Germany.

“There are files where the European Union and Russia see completely eye to eye – I think of the implementation of the nuclear agreement with Iran or the conflict between Israel and Palestine,” she said.

“So it is a complex relation. It is a relation that as long as the situation in Ukraine will stay as it is[, it] will not go back to normal,” she added.

She went on to address crises in other Asian countries saying, 'There are fields of foreign policy for instance where we have a channel open. We constantly work together on issues like the crises in Syria, Libya, Afghanistan or Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).”
