Hope "Women Security Provision" bill be submitted till the end of cabinet's term; Molaverdi tells ILNA

Vice President for Women and Family Affairs describes efforts in countering domestic violence.

"Shahindokht Molaverdi", Vice President for Women and Family Affairs in her interview with ILNA, regarding "Women and Family Deputy of Presidential Administration"’s efforts in countering domestic violence against women said: "Violence is a global phenomenon and our country is not excluding from the rule. In the draft that we submitted  to the cabinet in the month of Esfand, we anticipated preventive measures to be taken."

"A coordinating council and a national committee is going to be formed to further match executive organs in this field" she added.

Molaverdi, expressing hope that Government’s legislative committees would evaluate and then send the bill to the parliament, told: "We try to let women security provision bill, be evaluated until the end of 11th government and at least leave the governmental legislative body."
