Era of raising walls between nations over; Iran's president
President Hassan Rouhani said here Wednesday that the era of raising walls between the nations to make them distant from each other is over.
President Rouhani made the remarks at the ceremony marking National Day of Space Technology on Feb 1.
Today's world is the era of communications to make links between the world nations, said the president adding it is a long time that the era of building walls to make people far from each other has ended.
New US President Donald Trump has recently tweeted that he would put into force his decision for building a 3,200 km long wall across the joint border with Mexico.
The President further described the US recent moves to impose visa ban on the citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries, including Iran, to the United States and build wall across the joint border with Mexico as 'wrong' and 'unfair'.
“Today is not the day of division,” the president went on to say, stressing that the moves taken by the American president revealed the US hypocricy.
