Al-Qaeda and the ISIL are common danger for both Iran and Pakistan, said Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif in a meeting with Pakistani Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry.

Zarif said that there is no barrier to expanding bilateral banking ties, and Pakistani banks are able to step up cooperation without any concern.

He also stressed fighting terrorism and extremism.

Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, for his part, said bilateral ties between the two sides are expanding, and Pakistani firms are keen to work with Iranian companies.

He also said boosting economic ties between Iran and Pakistan are important for Pakistan.
