The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Monday night stated that Iran has never left the negotiating table and is serious about result-oriented negotiations, emphasizing that the other side must show seriousness on lifting unjust sanctions, too.

In a live television interview, the Iranian President, Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran is serious and committed to resuming result-oriented talks, adding that seriousness on lifting unjust sanctions must also be observed on the other side too.

Raisi further pointing to Iran's presence in regional treaties and membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, stressed that relations with neighboring countries and the region are a priority for the Iranian government.

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran also referred to the developments in Afghanistan and Tehran's position in this regard, emphasizing that the strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Afghanistan is to create stability and unity.

Referring to Iran's expectation of the Afghan rulers to form an inclusive government, Raisi stated, an inclusive government must be formed in Afghanistan to represent all active and ethnic groups in the country, and this is supported by Iran.

Iranian President further referring to the US support for the terrorist group ISIS and the presence of elements of this terrorist group in Afghanistan and said: "The United States has always sought instability and insecurity in the region, especially in Afghanistan."

Raisi called on the Afghan rulers to confront the crimes of ISIS in the country, stating that Afghanistan should be able to have a calm situation so that the people of this country can live in peace, security and tranquility.
