Iran’s steel production rises by %32

The World Steel Association (world steel) has published the 2017 edition of World Steel in Figures, showing Iran’s steel production rose by %32 during the last 11 months.

The monthly crude steel production figures show that the production of the product in Iran amounted to 1.952 million and 82 tons in November, compared to 1.917 million and 994 tons in October, indicating 1.8 Percentage growths.

According to the report, by the end of November this year, 19,791,344 tons of steel were produced in Iran, showing 31.9 percent compared to last year.

Iran's 20-Year Vision Plan has predicted the country's crude steel production capacity at 55 million tons and Iran should enhance to the seventh place in the world eight in years.

The World Steel Association’s publication provides a comprehensive overview of steel industry activities, stretching from crude steel production to apparent steel use, from indications of global steel trade flows to iron ore production and trade, according to its website.
