Wage is an economic concept and shouldn't be politicized; Ali Beigi
Iran's High Islamic Work Council official told that the wage issue should be treated economically.
"Oliaa Ali Beigi", head of the general board of High Islamic Work Council, regarding the results of the year 1396 wage negotiations, emphasized the fact that wage is an economic concept and shouldn't manipulated politically. "Meanwhile having emotional views regarding the concept is tragic" he added.
Noting that in the last 3 months, provincial wage committee and Islamic Work Council tried deeply to meet the needs of the workers, based on their living realities, told that the efforts have been honest and caring.
"Although the income rates would fail to meet workers living expenses, but my impression is that this year's council's decision to distance itself from inflation rates and increase the wages above it, to some extent, can relatively satisfy the workers. However this is just the beginning", he stressed.
