With administrated plans, it is unlikely that need to import wheat this year and if there is a need in this sector it is undoubtedly less than one million tones”, EshaqJahangri said.

“Using new irrigation systems can have considerable effect in reducing agricultural water consumption and 500 million dollars has been assigned from national development fund for this purpose”,  Jahangiri said.

This credit will be used for lunching the new irrigation systems in 250 hectares in agricultural lands, he added.
