French minister to head to Tehran by Air France

Head of Civil Aviation Organization Public Relations said that in the wake of signing an agreement on resuming Air France flights to Tehran, French Minister of Transport is scheduled to have a trip to Tehran on Sunday as the first Paris-Tehran flight's special guest.

Referring to the fact that Air France flights to Iran had been cancelled since 2008, Reza Jafarzade said that based on the planning, these flights will resume on April 17 and Air France is to have four flights each week.

Jafarzade said that lifting imposed sanction on Iran caused increasing the number of foreign airlines' flights to Iran and many foreign and European airlines have resumed their flights to Iran.

Based on the time schedule, Air France flights arrive in Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 20:20 and it will quit Tehran next morning at 9:15.

By resuming Air France, KLM and British Airways flights to Iran, the number of air ways travelling to Iran hit 45.
