Zionist regime benefiting from insecurity in Egypt: Spokesperson
ILNA: Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham, by condemning terrorist act in north of Sinai in Egypt, underlined that the Zionist regime benefits from weakening Egypt and creating insecurity in this country.
According to the Egyptian security officials on Friday, a suicide bomber attacked a military checkpoint in Sinai Peninsula, near Gaza Strip, in which ۱۷ military personnel were killed and ۲۱ others were injured.
According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, Afkham expressed sympathy with families of the victims of the attack.
She added Iran hopes that Egyptian people and their leaders, by maintaining national unity, prevent the Zionist regime from spreading sedition among Egyptian people.
